How can I create animated cursors?

An animation (animated cursor in particular) is a sequence of images, or frames, that is displayed over time. Each frame varies slightly from the preceding frame, creating the illusion of movement when the frames are viewed in quick succession. Animated cursors are widely used in Windows (for example, in some programs use cursor animation while loading).

How to create animated cursor with ArtCursors

1. Select File/New Animation from the main menu or press Create animated button on the standard toolbar

The application can create a new animated cursor automatically each time it starts. For this:

1. Open Configuration dialog (Select Options/Configuration from the main menu)
2. Select General sheet
3. Mark Animated Cursor item at Create at startup group.

You can learn how to add frames to animated cursors from ArtCursors Help. Select Help from the main menu, search for the 'animated' and read the instructions.

If you don't want to create anything automatically that mark Nothing item at Create at startup group.
